Well, here we go!!! The blogging has begun! I've wanted to do this for awhile, in an attempt to better stay in touch with more friends and family, and, thanks to my brother, it's finally happened!
It will also be the best way to share pics with you all, instead of through email. Please feel free to leave comments!!
Christmas 2006 started with Bob and Laurel arriving on Friday, followed by Rob, Vone, and Lilo Saturday afternoon. Andrew and Grandpa Bob made some classic favourites to snack on to kick off the celebrating and food frenzie! First dinner together was Bob's Seafood Chowder -- made better than ever due to Rob's shrimp, scallop, crab, and fish purchases from St. Lawerence Market before leaving Toronto. Christmas Eve was brought to you by Rob and Vone -- a delicious Indian feast; samosas, chicken tikka over rice, and to-die-for Tandori chicken!! This morning we enjoyed Breakfast casserole (ham, cheese, french bread, eggs & milk) and at this very moment we're awaiting the bird from the oven! It's smellin' gooooooooooooooood! Better be sure to save enough room for dessert though, since Vone made my favourite candy cane cheesecake, oh yeah! FOOD, one of the many thrills of Christmas!
